Key Features

What you get

A loan officer contacts you within 1 hour on working days.

Flexible repayment

Monthly plans matched to your income.

Common Uses

Who a personal loan suits

A personal loan works best for a specific, short-term need that your regular income can comfortably repay.

Medical bills

A hospital deposit, dental work or specialist fee that can’t wait for next month’s salary.

Home repairs

A failed water heater, leaking pipe or aircon replacement — the repairs that can’t be postponed.

Education

Course fees, exam fees or a child’s school expenses due before your savings catch up.

Bridging until payday

Covering a one-off shortfall between now and your next salary, then clearing it quickly.

A personal loan is not suited to funding ongoing lifestyle spending or servicing other debts long term. If you are struggling with persistent debt, free help is available from Credit Counselling Singapore (ccs.org.sg).

Loan Limits

How much you can borrow

The Ministry of Law caps how much anyone may borrow unsecured across all licensed moneylenders combined — the cap is per borrower, not per lender.

  • Citizens / PRs earning less than $20,000 a year: up to $3,000 in total
  • Citizens / PRs earning $20,000 or more a year: up to 6 times your monthly income in total

Loans you already hold with other licensed moneylenders count towards your cap. Different limits apply to foreigners working in Singapore — see our Foreigner Loan page.

A quick example

If you earn $3,500 a month ($42,000 a year), your unsecured cap is 6 × $3,500 = $21,000 across all licensed moneylenders combined.

Within that cap, we lend based on what your monthly budget can comfortably carry.

Rates & Fees

What it costs

Every charge a licensed moneylender may impose is capped by law:

  • Interest: up to 4% per month, charged on the reducing balance — interest falls as you repay
  • Approval fee: a one-time fee of up to 10% of the principal, charged only when the loan is granted
  • Late interest: up to 4% per month on the overdue amount only — never on the whole loan
  • Late fee: up to $60 per month of late payment

By law, the total of all interest and fees can never exceed the loan principal.

A simple worked example

Borrow $2,000 over 4 months at 4% per month on the reducing balance, repaying $500 of principal each month:

  • Month 1: $500 + $80 interest (4% of $2,000)
  • Month 2: $500 + $60 interest (4% of $1,500)
  • Month 3: $500 + $40 interest (4% of $1,000)
  • Month 4: $500 + $20 interest (4% of $500)

Total interest: $200. Add a one-time 10% approval fee of $200 and the total cost is $400 — well below the legal ceiling of the $2,000 principal.

You’ll bring these to your office appointment — you don’t need to upload identity documents on this website.

How It Works

How applying works

  • Apply through the online form or call 6737 5737
  • A loan officer contacts you within 1 hour on working days to discuss your needs
  • Visit us at 304 Orchard Road, #04-12/13 Lucky Plaza with your documents
  • We verify your identity and income and run the Moneylenders Credit Bureau (MLCB) check — a mandatory step for every licensed moneylender
  • The loan is granted in person after checks, with every contract term explained; disbursement usually follows about 30 minutes after signing

By law, a loan cannot be finalised over the phone, SMS or email — it is always completed at our office.

Personal Loan FAQ

Quick answers

Can I repay my personal loan early?

Yes. Early repayment is welcome and there is no extra cost — just let your loan officer know. Because interest is charged on the reducing balance, settling early also lowers the total interest you pay.

Can I apply if I already have a loan?

It depends on your income and your total borrowing across all licensed moneylenders, which the MLCB check shows us. If a new loan would push you past your legal cap or strain your monthly budget, we won’t lend.

What documents do I need?

Your NRIC and proof of income (CPF statement, recent payslip, bank statement or Notice of Assessment). You bring these to your in-person appointment — we never ask you to send identity documents online.
