Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal data under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Last updated: 4 July 2026
Advance Cash Credit Pte. Ltd. (“Advance Cash”, “we”, “us”) is a licensed moneylender registered with the Registry of Moneylenders, Ministry of Law, Singapore (Licence No. 79/2026), with its office at 304 Orchard Road, #04-12/13 Lucky Plaza, Singapore 238863. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with this website and our moneylending business, in accordance with the PDPA.
1. Personal data we collect
Through the forms on this website, we collect the details you choose to give us, which may include: your name, NRIC/FIN, mobile number, email address, year of birth, residency status, nationality, residence type, employment and income details, the loan you are interested in and its purpose, any existing repayment commitments you disclose (including loans from banks or other licensed moneylenders), whether you own property, and your choices on the consents at the end of the application.
We collect your NRIC/FIN because, as a licensed moneylender, we are required to check your records with the Moneylenders Credit Bureau (MLCB) before granting a loan. If you complete the form manually you enter it yourself; if you use Singpass it is provided to us in verified form. Your NRIC/FIN is stored securely, is shown only to our authorised loan officers, and is never included in any email.
Singpass (Myinfo). If you choose to use Singpass to complete your application, we retrieve — with the consent you give through Singpass — verified personal data from the Government’s Myinfo service. Depending on what you agree to share, this may include your NRIC/FIN, name, date of birth, sex, race, nationality, residential status, registered address, contact details, CPF contribution history and balances, Notice of Assessment (income), HDB ownership details, employment and occupation, and pass and passport details. This data is stored securely on our systems; the full NRIC/FIN is held on our servers and is only ever shown to you in masked form on this website. Using Singpass is optional — you may complete the form manually instead.
Identity documents and supporting papers (such as your physical NRIC, passport, work pass, payslips and bank statements) are collected in person at our office when you attend your appointment, because Advance Cash completes every loan in person. Please do not upload documents through this website.
We may also collect personal data when you call us, visit our office, or otherwise correspond with us.
2. How we use your personal data
We collect, use and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:
- responding to your enquiry and contacting you about your application;
- assessing your eligibility, creditworthiness and loan quantum, including checks with the Moneylenders Credit Bureau (MLCB);
- verifying your identity and conducting checks required by law, including anti-money-laundering, countering-the-financing-of-terrorism and PEP screening obligations;
- preparing, granting and administering any loan, including repayment records and statements of account;
- complying with the Moneylenders Act 2008, the Moneylenders Rules, directions of the Registrar of Moneylenders, and any other applicable law or lawful request by a public authority; and
- maintaining our business records.
We do not use your personal data for third-party marketing, and we do not sell personal data.
2a. Use of AI in assessing your application
AI models assist our loan officers when assessing loan applications — for example, by helping to estimate creditworthiness, affordability and risk from the information you provide and from verified data such as income, CPF contributions, Notice of Assessment, existing debts and credit-bureau records. These tools support the assessment only; a qualified loan officer always reviews each application and makes the final decision, and the AI does not make decisions on its own. The AI models we use operate under our control, and your personal data is not shared with any other company for its own purposes, nor used to train the models of any third party.
2b. Improving our AI models (optional)
With your separate, optional consent, we may also use your personal data to develop, train, test and improve the AI models used to assess loan applications. This consent is entirely optional and is not a condition of any application or loan — if you do not give it, or later withdraw it, your application is received and assessed in exactly the same way. Where you have given this consent, your personal data is used only under our control and is not used to train the models of any third party. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us using the details in section 8. This does not apply where data has been anonymised such that it can no longer identify you.
2c. Where we use technology service providers
The AI processing described above may be carried out on our own systems or, where we engage a technology or cloud service provider to process personal data on our behalf, by that provider acting as our data intermediary. In that case we require the provider to protect your personal data, to process it only on our instructions and for our purposes, and not to use it for its own purposes or to train its own models. We remain responsible for your personal data under the PDPA.
3. Who we disclose personal data to
Your personal data may be disclosed, only to the extent necessary for the purposes above, to:
- the Moneylenders Credit Bureau (MLCB), to which licensed moneylenders are required to submit borrower and loan information;
- the Registry of Moneylenders and other public authorities, where required or permitted by law;
- our professional advisers (for example auditors or lawyers), under obligations of confidentiality; and
- service providers who process data on our behalf — including our website-hosting and secure-storage provider (Cloudflare), the Singpass/Myinfo service (operated by GovTech) where you choose to use it, our email-notification provider (used only to alert our staff that an application has been received, without your NRIC/FIN, income or financial details), and any technology or AI service provider we engage to process data on our behalf. Such providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your personal data for their own purposes. Where a provider processes personal data on servers outside Singapore, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
4. Consent and withdrawal of consent
By submitting a form on this website, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of the personal data you provide for the purposes set out in this Policy. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see section 8). Withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to process or continue processing your enquiry or application. Note that certain collection, use and disclosure — for example MLCB reporting on a granted loan — is required by law and does not depend on consent.
By providing your telephone number in a form on this website, you agree to receive calls and text messages from us about your enquiry or application, notwithstanding any registration of that number with the Do Not Call Registry.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law, including the record-keeping requirements applicable to licensed moneylenders. When personal data is no longer required, we securely dispose of or anonymise it.
For data submitted through this website, we apply the following retention periods, after which the records are automatically deleted:
- data retrieved through Singpass/Myinfo (including your NRIC/FIN) used to pre-fill an application — deleted within 30 days;
- online applications and enquiries — deleted within 12 months.
Where you proceed to take a loan, the records required to administer that loan are kept in our loan-management system for the period required under the Moneylenders Act 2008 and its subsidiary legislation, separately from the website records above.
6. Protection of your data
We make reasonable security arrangements to protect personal data in our possession against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification or disposal. Loan files are handled only by authorised staff and treated as strictly confidential. If a data breach notifiable under the PDPA occurs, we will assess it and notify the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) and affected individuals as the PDPA requires.
7. Access and correction
You may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you. We may charge a reasonable fee for access requests as permitted by the PDPA. To make a request, contact us using the details in section 8; we will respond within 30 days, or if that is not possible, tell you in writing when we will be able to respond.
8. Contact us
Questions, requests or complaints about personal data (including requests addressed to our Data Protection Officer) may be made:
- by phone: 6737 5737;
- through the enquiry form on our Contact page; or
- in writing or in person: Data Protection Officer, Advance Cash Credit Pte. Ltd., 304 Orchard Road, #04-12/13 Lucky Plaza, Singapore 238863.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you may also lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
9. Third-party services on this website
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and links to Google Maps; when your browser requests those resources, Google receives standard technical request data (such as your IP address) under Google’s own privacy policy. The website and its forms are hosted on Cloudflare, which securely stores your form submission and provides a bot-protection check (Cloudflare Turnstile); Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) as our service provider. If you use Singpass to complete your application, your Myinfo data is provided through the Government’s Singpass/Myinfo service operated by GovTech. When we notify our staff that an application has been received, we use an email-delivery provider to send that notification, which contains only limited contact details and never your NRIC/FIN, income or financial information. These providers act as our service providers and are not permitted to use your personal data for their own purposes.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version published on this page, with its “last updated” date, is the version in force. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
